Hi! I'm Jeff, pro golfer and owner of Lined Up ball markers. Lined up is an operation running out of my home (aka my car) and my brother's home (aka his 1980's VW van) in wherever the next tournament takes us.
I've always been an athlete and involved in many sports. From baseball to tennis, surfing to basketball, I have done it all. It wasn't until 2009 when I met a fantastic golf teacher in Australia’s gold coast that I realized I had a chance to make a real go of it at golf. Eventually, I decided to make it my full-time pursuit and put everything I had towards making it pro. I've spent many days on the road travelling on a shoe string budget, sleeping in my car, and even bathing in lakes to make it all work. In March 2011, I went pro and now I've set my goal on playing on the 2016 Olympic team.
With all of my success, there is still a long way to go. I've had to fund my training and tournaments on my own, and I've spent many long days working on golf courses teaching, rather than practicing my game. Last year my Mom, an artist, encouraged me to find a way to fund my tournaments by combining art and my passion for golf. So, with the help of my family we created Lined Up ball markers - Hand crafted and made in Chester, Nova Scotia.
By creating these ball markers I've been able to fund more tournaments and stay close to the green. I've also gotten these little beauties into the hands of a few select ladies on the LPGA tour. Why would an LPGA player use on of these, you ask? They help golfers of all levels line up their putt more precise. The line acts as a guide when you mark your ball, and you get to look from above and both sides of the hole to see if u have it aimed correctly.
I hope you like them, and me! Thanks to everyone who dedicated their time, energy and good vibes towards helping me reach my pursuit!
